Cancellation & refund policy
Cancellation and refund conditions for individually agreed business services. Effective 8 October 2026.
Acceptance before payment
Before payment is requested, the client must receive this policy and the service terms and expressly accept them in writing as part of the signed service agreement or an email reply confirming acceptance. A service enquiry or privacy acknowledgement is not acceptance of a paid contract or this policy. This website has no payment checkout; policy acceptance must be recorded separately before any payment request.
Before work starts
Either party may cancel in writing before agreed work begins. Any payment for services not performed will be refunded. Any exception for a third-party cost must have been expressly approved by the client in writing before it was incurred.
After work starts
The client may request cancellation in writing. Only work actually completed within the agreed scope and any expressly approved, non-recoverable third-party costs will be charged. Any prepaid amount exceeding those sums will be refunded, supported by a breakdown.
Ongoing partnerships
Any notice period, billing cycle, minimum commitment, or handover arrangements must be individually agreed in writing. No deposit, penalty, or notice period is automatically imposed by this policy.
If the provider cannot deliver
If the provider cannot complete agreed services, the parties will discuss a revised scope or timing. If no alternative is accepted, payments relating to undelivered services will be refunded.
Requesting a cancellation or refund
Email erik@erikfrancsics.com with your business name, agreement or invoice reference, and the reason for your request. The refund amount and timing will be confirmed in writing. Where possible, any refund will use the original payment method.
Service concerns and applicable rights
Raise concerns about work against the agreed scope so the parties can discuss correction or an appropriate resolution. This policy is for business clients and does not remove rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
